Why it has to be independent

A platform can't audit its own agents.

When a platform vouches for the agents it runs, that's self-attestation, and auditors reject it. No single platform sees across all the others your enterprise runs. Accountability has to sit outside them, on neutral ground, cross-platform. That is the part only an independent party can hold.
